A flag is used as a symbol, a signaling device. In this piece nine distinct flags are presented as a single standard calling into question to which state or country does one call home or retain a sense of patriotism or nationalism.
De Donde Soy included in exhibition curated by Amy Kligman, Charlotte Street’s Executive Artistic Director and curator of Who We Were/Who We Are/Who We Will Be.
