The title is taken from Hamlet in reference to his growing inability to understand what distinguishes humanity from nature.--

This installation is in a building at the corner of Walnut and 18th St; it is old, forgotten but usable and it inspired me to consider what possibilities are out there. This building isn't just a cavernous hole but but someplace inbetween. And the quintessence of something is the same, something inbetween like the aether. In this case, the installation is illuminating the dark without shining light on any one thing.....
